The Role:
You will be responsible for delivery of product changes for OneVue Platform Services and Superannuation offerings. You will maintain strong relationships with clients and ensure that SLAs are adhered to. As the primary interface to exte
al investment platforms, research houses, data providers etc. you will facilitate funds flow and the research rating process. Your responsibility for marketing activities will involve working closely with the Marketing group to present the products and services to the marketplace.

You will be responsible to:
Ø Co-ordinate changes to Product Disclosure Statements for Platform Services.
Ø Draft PDS content to reflect the up to date product/ service definition and regulatory changes
Ø Create and update fee calculators for Platform Services
Ø Create and maintain all content for advisers on the secure portal
Ø Provide quarterly updates of competitor offerings, understanding the pricing and features comparisons
Ø Create product material, provide sales training support, transition support and service support.

Your skills and approach:

rehabilitation engineer

The purpose of the position is to delivers high-level professional engineering services, providing authoritative advice to the Medical Aids Subsidy Scheme (MASS) Director and Service Managers on matters relating to the equipment standards, repairs, maintenance, purchase and disposal of MASS equipment. Duties are of a complex and varied nature performed independently and as part of a multi-disciplinary team.

The Engineer is expected to provide clinical, product and protocol/process expertise predominantly in the area of Equipment Services for MASS statewide services.

Key Accountabilities include:

Clinical Practice

– Deliver high level professional rehabilitation engineering services within MASS, providing specialist advice to internal and external stakeholders.
– Apply specialist engineering knowledge and principles of evidence based practice in providing professional judgement to varied and complex problems related to the assessment, prescription, customisation, procurement and life-cycle management of medical aids/equipment.
– Facilitate the reallocation, general modification and adjustment of MASS stock equipment, supporting the MASS strategic function of prompt and cost effective service delivery to MASS client base.
– Provide direction and advice on the impact of engineering factors on client outcomes to health practitioners over a range of disciplines statewide, including the provision and facilitation of education, research and undertaking projects in accordance with MASS goals.
– Monitor and report on clinical practices and outcomes within the clinical service area and actively participate in initiating, developing, implementing and leading as required quality and service improvement activities related to rehabilitation engineering tasks that enhance the delivery of services by MASS.

Communication / Team Participation

– Work collaboratively and efficiently as part of the professional advisory team to develop policy, education and strategic planning advice for MASS.
– Collaborate with other MASS staff as appropriate, to investigate and address issues with new and existing equipment and provide advice on circumstances affecting equipment function, suitability, safety, risk, engineering issues and other relevant matters as they arise.
– Provide input to MASS policy and processes including quality activities, reports, audits, and the establishment of key partnerships and networks both State and nation wide, including representation on various committees and working parties.


– Provide professional engineering leadership in the development of professional standards, practices, procedures and protocols in relation to engineering aspects of medical aids that support the continuum of care engaging cross-discipline referencing where relevant.
– Provide engineering advice to MASS Service Managers, Director and other stakeholders regarding professional standards, service delivery and clinical service development and improvement.
– Ensure patients and other staff are treated fairly and with mutual respect and understanding, regardless of cultural, religious, ethnic and linguistic backgrounds.
– Lead and manage staff by fostering and committing to patient safety and quality in the delivery of health care by maintaining and evaluating safety and quality practices and initiatives.

Qualifications/Professional registration/Other requirements

– Appointment to this position requires proof of qualification and registration or membership with the appropriate registration authority or association within Australia. Certified copies of the required information must be provided to the appropriate supervisor/manager, prior to the commencement of clinical duties.
– The successful applicant must hold a tertiary level engineering qualification, or equivalent, that is acceptable for membership with Engineers Australia.
– This position requires the incumbent to operate a C class motor vehicle, and an appropriate licence endorsement to operate this type of vehicle is required. Proof of this endorsement must be provided before commencement of duty.

Civil Engineers – Infrastructure Design B4

Great opportunity for Civil Engineers / Infrastructure Design to join a progressive Project Delivery Company and help us deliver Major Road Projects

We are currently experiencing a high demand right up & down the coast & Darling Downs Queensland and are seeking expressions of interest from experienced Civil Engineers / Infrastructure Designinterested in joining us and capable of committing to the following assignments for an initial 12 month duration’s with the possibility of ongoing extensions and other projects with some of the biggest Engineering Consultancies in the industry.

The person will be responsible for providing professional technical advice and consulting services in the planning, design and construction procedures of Road and Bridge Infrastructure projects.

Mandatory Experience
A Minimum of 10 years post-RPEQ registration experience in the application of engineering planning and design principles and methodologies as they apply to planning, design, construction, maintenance and rehabilitation projects; and
Demonstrated expertise in managing and supervising projects to DTMR policies, standards and specifications.

Plan and review the engineering drawings and specifications;
Participate in engineering and planning investigations;
Analyze technical problems, assessing the feasibility of proposed techniques and procedures, and devising new approaches and alte
ative solutions;
Coordinate work with project manager, and guide junior professionals and technical personnel on the design and drafting of preliminary and final plans;
Oversee quality control, maintaining quality standards in all work produced, and checking computations or reviewing designs and drawings performed by others;
Manage projects by coordinating with the client, directing the design review process, coordinating the design review team, which may include other disciplines;
Undertake reviews of both temporary and permanent works designs on design and construct contracts to ensure compliance with contractual requirements, project brief, technical standards and legislation;
Coordinate reviews undertaken by specialist designers inte

al to Transport and Main
Roads and facilitate mutually agreeable outcomes to design issues between design reviewers and designers;
Conduct assessments of road and bridge infrastructure to ensure quality and compliance with departmental design standards and prepare reports on recommended engineering solutions to particular problems;
Provide engineering advice for the works, including testing and product specifications;
Prepare contract documentation, supplementary specifications and specification annexures for construction, rehabilitation and maintenance activities;
Review pavement designs prepared by consultants and design staff to ensure fitness for purpose and compliance; and
Provide engineering expertise and mentoring to the operation of the team.

Preferred additional Experience
Experience in the preparation of documentation and project briefs for AS2124-style contracts such as Transport Infrastructure Contracts – Construct Only (TIC-CO), Road Construction Contracts (RCC); AS4300 style Design and Construct (D&C) Contracts, relational contracts, or Collaborative Project Agreements (CPA) or Alliance.

Mandatory Qualifications
Civil Engineering Degree in or an equivalent qualification, which is accepted by the Institution of Engineers Australia as a full Member (MIEAust); and
Registration as a Registered Professional Engineer of Queensland (RPEQ).
