The Role
This is a newly created role that will see you reporting to the General Manager of Customer Experience. The role has three primary components to focus on – manage and meet sales targets; scope out client requirements and provide creatively compelling proposals; develop and foster long term relationships by establishing yourself as a “trusted advisor” to customers.

The Responsibilities
You will be a pro-active and commercially-savvy person who is able to build, develop and influence exisiting and potential customers. With polished and professional communication skills, you will enjoy face to face presentations and working closely with both inte
al and exte
al stakeholders.

We will be considering candidates with the following criteria for this role:-

– a well-established network of industry contacts (media agencies, market research or end client)
– at least 5 years relevant business experience, preferably client facing though supplier side will be considered
– the ability to establish relationships through conducting pre-sales meetings and presentations
– work with the wider team to design and scope solutions and products to meet client objectives

The Rewards
The role is offering a base salary of $75,000 plus superannuation plus a quarterly bonus (uncapped). CBD location.

Structures Foreman – Residential tower in Brisbane

With substantial repeat business, this respected Building Contractor has grown from strength to strength over the past ten years. They have been awarded numerous industry awards across their portfolio of developments which include Residential, Aged Care, Retail, Education and Industrial.

With another project being awarded to their residential team, an immediate requirement for a proven Structures Foreman has arisen. The project is a new 12 storey residential project valued at $30M. This position will play a crucial role in supporting the Site Manager to ensure the appropriate supervision and coordination of trades for all onsite activities relating to structures.

Key accountabilities:

– Support the Site Manager and liaise with subcontractors
– Assist with the scheduling and planning of work
– Monitor workmanship though identifying and managing defects / rectification
– Attend and present at weekly site meetings
– Oversee site safety requirement and inductions
– Undertake onsite Quality Assurance to ensure utmost quality for structures.
– Ensure a high level of communication and teamwork through direct communications and on-site meetings.

Required Skills & Experience:

– Worked as a Structural Foreman for a number of years on large Multi Storey Residential/ Commercial developments $20M+ in value.
– Proven experience with a mix of one, two and three-bedroom apartments
– Have a trade qualification as a Carpenter or similar
– Good time management skills and ability to coordinate subcontractors and materials handling.
– Site supervisor certificate or builder’s licence (advantage)
– Excellent communication skills and customer focused
– Ability to perform under pressure
– Sound knowledge with WHS requirements
– First aid certificate (advantage)
