Lead Product Designer | Aus Branch of this Silicon Valley Tech Company

Had a super exciting call with the US office of this Global playing tech company today to really dive deep into the requirements and future trajectory of this incredibly rare role in Brisbane, Aus.

They’re a global playing SaaS tech company with the two main offices right here in Brisbane and San Fran. The goal is to base this incredibly talented Product Designer here in the Brisbane tech team (who are absolute hot shots) and have them really pave the way for products with thought out problem solving, solution finding and intuitive mode
design. They’ll have the US team to lean on when needed for additional UX and research – but ultimately there’s room here for them to really champion their own path.

You’ll be coming in as a hands on designer to help with some of their existing products whilst also working on brand new products. They craft some very advanced tools and platforms, so it makes sense that this Designer have exceptional experience when it comes to working on Software and Platforms – especially in the enterprise sized space – B2B and B2C.

This is a role for a Leader with Snr level capabilities and to get a look on from them, you’re going to have proven experience doing the following;

Driving key interaction design initiatives by engaging and collaborating with business stakeholders to translate business, end user and technical requirements into UI prototypes

Producing interaction designsfrom concept to execution in an agile product development environment

Facilitated design brainstorming sessions and built consensus around design vision with product development stakeholders

Conducted user research, coordinated usability-testing, interpreted test results, effectively communicated findings, and incorporated results into design efforts

Worked closely with product development team members to ensure technical development adheres to UX design vision

If those sorts of tasks are part of your regular design vocab – there’s a good chance you’re along the lines of this. I know these positions in Brisbane are rare – so if you want to know if it’s worth the move for you – just hit me up for a chat.

Folio is going to be critical as well – so talk to me about what they need to see here!
