The Role

– Use of Xero software package.
– Accounts Receivable and Payable.

They are known as a Tier 1 builder in QLD and they are aiming to grow the NSW division to this size.

A need exists for a Senior Estimator to come into the business and work alongside the Estimating Manager in a team of 6, you will be seen as a senior part of the business and must have experience with a well known Tier 1 or Large Tier 2 contractor.

You will be joining a builder who are currently building projects up to $250m in Sydney and generally target projects between $40m and $200m and therefore you will need experience tendering ion projects of at least $50m plus.

Our client is one of Sydney most respected tier two builders who boasts over 100 years’ experience serving clients through the entire project lifecycle, from initial design, project management and onsite delivery. Sectors they cover include hospitality, health, ageing and disability, education, retirement living, commercial, insurance, facilities management and remedial.

Position
Due to a $50M project kicking off on the lower north shore we are assisting with the recruitment of a Supervisor who will be the Site Managers 2IC. The scope of works includes a multi-story (6) build with major retail below.

As a leading hand, you will be expected to undertake all site set out, coordinate the day to day activities of sub-contractors and coordinate plant/equipment whilst being the Site Managers eyes and ears on site. You will ideally come from a trade qualified background and done your time as a Carpenter with a similar size builder.

As works progress on site more leading hands will join the project and this position will evolve into a General Foreman position.
